I introduced to my character Abigail in the upcoming book Naimi’s Legacy earlier this month, and you already know she likes control.
Keith Reynolds doesn’t believe life works that way. His favorite saying is:
“You can’t control the wind. You can only adjust your stride and keep breathing.”
Keith is calm, grounded, and refreshingly unimpressed by titles, wealth, or social standing. He’s much more interested in authenticity, connection, and the person beneath the surface.
He likes strong coffee, desert hikes at sunrise, dogs, hole-in-the-wall diners, comfortable shoes, and making Abigail roll her eyes.
Abigail first knows him simply as the annoying man she keeps encountering at the gym.
There’s more to Keith than she realizes. But I’m not telling you everything yet.
What I’ve especially enjoyed while writing Naomi’s Legacy is watching what happens when a woman who tries to control every variable in her life encounters a man who has learned that some things simply can’t be controlled.
