At this moment, I’m on my way to Wisconsin for Writers’ Police Academy! I’ve heard about it for years and always thought it would be fun, but now I get to actually do it. Do what, you ask? Get the same hands-on training taught to Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, and Corrections personnel—the kind typically reserved for professionals, but they teach us writers so we can get it right in our books. Sooooo excited!
