Gratitude, Goats & a Hint of Christmas Cheer

🍂 Welcome to November—the month we Americans celebrate Thanksgiving. With that in mind, I’ve been thinking about the kind of gratitude that shows up in laughter, friendship, and small moments of grace.

So this year, I’m putting the finishing touches on A Peach Blossom Christmas, a heartwarming Families & Heroes novella I can’t wait to share with you next month. 🎄It’s my Christmas gift to readers—a story about angels, glitter, goats, and the kind of chaos that somehow leads straight to grace. Here’s an excerpt:

A bleat rose from near the manger.
“technically,” Pastor Joel murmured behind her, “no goats at the first nativity.”
At that moment, the goat let out a load, tragic bleat that echoed through the room.
Laughter rolled through the crowd.
Linda groaned, “Here we go again—just like 2011.”

If you’ve read Her Undiscovered Door from my Families & Heroes collection, I’d be grateful if you’d take a minute to leave a review. Your words help readers discover stories of family, forgiveness, and second chances.

The Trail You Left is about a woman whose husband disappears only to reappear after 19 years to warn of impending danger. It’s a gripping tale of buried secrets, resilience, and the ways families heal.

Wherever you are in the world, I hope this season brings you connection, kindness, and maybe a few joyful surprises. Thank you for being part of my reader family—you make this journey such a gift.

Keep an eye out for December’s post! I’ll be offering you your free copy of A Peach Blossom Christmas. 🎁
